If tomorrow was judgement day, and the Lord asked you what u did with your life? what would u say?

Hey i havent blogged in a while... *covers face* ... but the important thing is i am back! Well as the world now knows Ms. Whitney Huston is dead. RIP she was found dead in her hotel room. As with all sudden and unexpected death, there is great lamenting, tributes, recollections and analysis of the icon's life.  Whitney Huston is being remembered for her immense talent and her history of drug abuse.

There are several very important lessons to be learnt form this tragic passing and the response to her death.
Firstly, last night when i heard i was in awe of the out pouring of response and not only that the type of response, the general sentiments were, "oh my God i can't believe that Whitney is dead".... really people? We have attributed this "God like" status to celebrities and idolized them to the point where death seems almost unfair and beyond  them. I was truly amazed at the naivety of us humans... i have realized that we are losing the reality of life and people are forgetting that the bible says, it is appointed unto man once to die and after that the judgement... Hebrews 9:27.... basically we all have to die regardless of who you are or what greatness you have accomplished on earth and face our creator and answer what is it that we have done with the life he gave us. Ms Huston says that if tomorrow was judgement day, and she were standing on the front line, and the Lord ask her what she did with her life she would say, she spent it with her lover.......... what is it that we would say?

Secondly death is no respecter of person, creed, race, ethnicity........

Thirdly, what is your indelible mark? Ms. Huston has left hers. As great or as small what is our indelible mark going to be?

Fourth and final is..... if i were to die tonight where would my soul be?

These are all pertinent questions and we sometimes ignore them because if we are honest with ourselves the answers are not good

so my lovelies until next time Good Night
